Aw, c'mon, Mom! She looks like she knows what she's doing. Of course, when I tried that my arm was bruised black and blue. Wasn't exactly my favorite sport.
That arrow's going nowhere til it's nocked!
Yes indeed. Buying bows and arrows for children! Did Charlton Heston die in vain?
Katie: I know! another sport that's harder than it looks, (like golf). It's her sister I'm afraid for...Dinah: Yep, and not in the house, rule #1, I'm guessing archery is one of your many talents Ms.Dinah?Vicus: In the spirit of Mr.Heston, I'm thinking a modest assault rifle would have been safer as I seemed to have welted my thumb quite badly when I shot off the arrow.
Well, I wouldn't be so free with the term "talent" but I did draw an occasional bow.
I did a year of archery and loved it... not sure its compatible with my current puppy obsession though... Hope she is well versed in archery etiquette!
Dinah: I think you're being modest, I have you pegged for an adventurous, outdoorsy outback woman. I bet you've gone on walkabout and had to machete a lunging eastern brown snake.. oh sorry, just lapsed into my own fantasy for a moment...Caroline: I'm impressed. Teasel can always be taught to retrieve arrows (shot low of course)
i emailed you a few days ago..did i get lost in the spam?
paula: I did get your email, I'm just behind in all my correspondence. I have a gazillion things to say, just formulating my thoughts, be prepared, you're going to get a long-winded one back.
